Every review on this site follows the same playbook. It exists so you can trust that a ranking reflects the tool, not a payout. Here's exactly how we work.

Our promise

We help you pick the right AI tool without wading through marketing copy. That means specifics over adjectives, honest weaknesses, and a clear answer to "who is this actually for?" If a popular tool isn't worth the money, we say so.

How we test

For each tool we cover, we work through five things: what it actually does, its real pricing and plan limits, its standout strengths, its genuine weaknesses, and who gets the most value from it. We pull current prices, model names, output limits, and free-tier caps directly from the vendor and cross-check against hands-on usage and up-to-date reporting.

  • Capabilities — the features that matter for real work, not the feature list.
  • Pricing — every plan, what each unlocks, and where the value breaks down.
  • Output quality — how good the results are for the tool's main job.
  • Fit — the specific user or team each tool suits best.

How we score

Reviews carry a rating out of 5 that reflects overall value for the intended user — a blend of capability, output quality, pricing, and ease of use. A high score means we'd recommend it to the right person; it never means a tool is perfect. Comparisons and roundups always end with a clear "pick X if…, pick Y if…" recommendation rather than a vague tie.

Keeping data current

AI tools change pricing and features constantly, so stale numbers are the fastest way to mislead a reader. We re-check the most-read pricing and roundup pages on a regular schedule and update any numbers that changed. We only bump a page's "updated" date when the content genuinely changed — never as a trick to look fresh.

Editorial independence

Rankings and verdicts are decided by the review, not by advertising or affiliate relationships. We write the assessment first; monetization is applied afterward and never buys a better placement. No vendor gets to approve or edit our coverage.

How we make money

This site is funded by advertising and by affiliate commissions — when you buy a tool through a link here, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That support keeps the reviews free. It does not change what we recommend. Dynalord also runs an AI implementation agency, which is separate from this reviews desk.

Corrections

We aim for accuracy and fix mistakes quickly. If a price is out of date or a fact is wrong, email hello@dynalord.com with the page link and we'll correct it. Learn more about Dynalord or get in touch.
